Denmark’s West Coast with a dog

The West Coast is Denmark’s favourite holiday coast for dog owners: long sandy beaches, dunes and summer houses from Fanø and Blåvand in the south to Hvide Sande and Klitmøller in the north.

Dogs must be on a lead on the beach from 1 April to 30 September. If your dog needs to run free in summer, the dog parks near the coast are the place to go – you’ll find them all below.
